Lamp Maintenance

Managed Lighting Solutions will work with you to implement the best maintenance regime based upon your business requirements.

The selected regime is determined by the operational requirements of your business and finance.

The key factor is the implementation of a structured process that can be monitored and measured.

MAINTENANCE REGIMES:

In general there are 3 types of maintenance regime although it is possible to combine the various approaches.

  • Reactive maintenance is exactly that, a lamp fails and it is replaced. Reactive regimes will generally have an agreed number of lamp failures before replacement together with a specified time-scale. In addition different areas can have different lamp failure levels before replacement is required.

  • Planned maintenance is based on a complete re lamp of a facility with agreed future re lamps. The frequency of re lamp can vary depending on the lamp type. Lamps that fail between re lamps are replaced in accordance with a reactive regime.

  • Comprehensive maintenance places the responsibility for the lighting installation with the maintenance organisation. A fixed monthly price over the contract period, typically 3 years is paid to maintain the lighting installation to a specified standard.
